No soda - Day 1

So at my visit with the Dietician yesterday we made one of my goals before next visit --> Cut out soda completely. At first I thought that it was impossible, but so far, so good. It's 6pm and no soda. Still need to eat dinner, but no desire to have the soda with it. I'm actually scaring myself, LOL! I'm really ready to be banded though and if cutting out soda will make it happen sooner, then I will do what I must! We'll see how day 2 goes tomorrow!

And I have my first follower!! Yay! Thanks Amanda!! She's getting banded in a few days and I wish her lots of luck!!

  1. Hi Melissa! Since I was out of town, this is the first chance I got to follow you. Cutting out soda is hard, but after you are banded, you won't want to drink it anyways. There is just no room to eat and drink together, so it is much much easier. I still have an occasional mixed drink or a soda if my blood sugar gets really low, but for the most part, it is rare! Good luck! :)

  3. You can do it! I personally believe the more band friendly habits you start working on before banding the easier it will be after.
